Fiat 501 - 1925

A classic of Italian motoring history. Practical torpedo with robust mechanics, 1460 c.c. with 4 gears + reverse for a speed of 73 km h. Of a construction "so simple that it can be repaired by the village blacksmith, so strong that it could serve as a piece of farm machinery, generous enough to withstand the most extreme sporting development": this was the motto for the popular 501, of which 67710 were built. Two specimens at the Museum of San Martino.
