The exhibition
This is not just a museum. It doesn't contain death objects, that can only been admired, but living things. Sometimes they are "kept" alive, but anyhow they live. The machine civilization, characterized by a continuous flow of commercial, economical and technical rules, is the most "cannibalistic" civilization in the history of humanity. Inventions follow each other very quickly: in the name of progress and efficiency we throw away anything that we consider out-of-date and inconvenient, without taking into consideration that what we want to get rid of is the result of great efforts and struggles. But there are people who don't have the courage to destroy the past, trying to keep alive the same wonder and astonishment felt when these ancient objects were created. Therefore they collect, take care of and restore them, spending time, money and again making great efforts and struggles, but in the end they get a very good reward. Ancient cars are there, lined up, shining and ready to go. And today, in a sort of sudden dream, we spend unforgettable moments with our "old ladies". We don't make comments about shapes, we just admire them. Technical indications given are few: certain technical curiosities are worth a thorough examination.
